Adrian B. Renner is a seasoned landlord-tenant attorney with nearly two decades of experience advocating for housing rights and social justice. At Bay Legal, PC, Adrian focuses on representing tenants in disputes with private landlords, providing litigation support, legal counseling, and proactive advocacy to help clients remain housed and protected under California law.

Before joining Bay Legal, Adrian worked in public interest representing clients in housing litigation and providing legal counsel to tenants facing housing discrimination, unlawful evictions, substandard living conditions and violations of the Tenant Protection Act.

Adrian’s legal background is grounded in criminal defense and public service. She has served as a public defender in both Illinois and Wisconsin, representing clients in felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, and post-conviction cases.

She earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she received several awards, including the Bernard Berk Memorial Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Economically Disadvantaged and the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Academic Achievement Award for Sentencing Advocacy.

Adrian also holds a B.A. in Spanish and Sociology with a Certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
